The tiny house has its own space and stunning Mt. Hood views, with our main home visible but not impacting your privacy. Designed around a custom moving window wall system, it opens fully to the outdoors, bringing the mountain right into your stay for unforgettable sunrises, sunsets, and true Mt. Hood magic.

Located near the end of a quiet dead end road in Welches, Oregon. Short path to Sandy River. Easy access to HWY 26 and only 15 minutes to Government Camp or Sandy Ridge mountain biking. Enjoy the relaxing surroundings while staying in a newly renovated cabin with all the comforts of home. 2 night min. stay seasonally/Fri/Sat but possibly accept a 1 night stay...just ask. The Woodlands Hideout

The Woodlands Hideout is a small intentional semi-offgrid retreat space, featured on Dwell. It was designed and built by Further Society and created to allow guests to immerse in the beauty of the natural world, but still offer some cozy and more essential comforts. Although the footprint of the space is small, we designed the experience to be outward focussed, so it feels very expansive with the towering pine trees in view.

Located near The Resort at the Mountain, you're only 20 miles to Timberline Lodge and all of Mt. Hood's splendor. The Upper and Lower Salmon River Trailheads are just up the road, and a multitude of other hiking opportunities nearby.
