A beautiful hand-renovated 1960s railway carriage, nestled in a quiet rural farm in Norton le Clay, North Yorkshire. Featuring bespoke detail throughout, our unique hideaway features a luxurious double bed with TV, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, and a cosy log burner. Outside, enjoy the fenced private space with a fire pit/BBQ, games and seating overlooking the iconic White Horse. Tucked behind a wildflower bank with its own track and parking, this is a peaceful spot to unwind.

Manor House Cottage self catering rural location

Manor House Cottage is located in the small hamlet of Holme-On-Swale 7 miles from the market town of Thirsk which is known for its connection to James Herriott and within easy reach of North Yorkshires National Parks. Set within the grounds of the Manor House, It is a quirky upside down cottage with a well appointed modern kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor with sitting room upstairs, private garden with table and chairs. There are no other holiday cottages in the grounds.

The Orchid

Explore Northallerton, and the beauty of North Yorkshire, then retreat to your own quiet little pad. Recently converted, the Granary provides spacious accommodation for 4 / 5 people (plus cot) and offers an ideal stop for those wishing to explore the Yorkshire Dales, the North York Moors and the Vale of York in between or alternatively, is a convenient stop off for those travelling further North or South.

A luxury rural retreat overlooking the North Yorkshire countryside. With all the modern luxuries in a rural and peaceful setting we offer a king size bed and rainfall shower. Our covered, 7 seat hot tub allows you to relax in all weather in the privacy of your own garden area. As we live here you may sometimes hear our children playing. We do not offer WIFI as the signal is unreliable. You can hot spot the smart tv from your phone or use the dvds provided.
