This log cabin home is INSIDE Yosemite National Park in the small town of Foresta. Stay here and only go through the entrance station ONCE for your entire stay. Views into Yosemite Valley, El Capitan, Half Dome! 11 minute drive to Yosemite Valley, great walks right out the door, easy drive to Yosemite's trails. Kokanee Lodge

Kokanee Lodge is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The deck has stunning views of Huntington Lake and it is a short 2 mile drive to China Peak ski resort. Summers can be spent witnessing sailing regattas, fishing, kayaking, and hiking in the Kaiser Wilderness. Winters are for skiing, snowmobiling, and sitting by the fire. There are two seasonal convenience stores within walking distance and the Lakeshore Resort with its restaurant and bar are also easily accessible.

The River Falls House

Only 13 miles from the south gate of Yosemite, this beautiful creek side home with a waterfall was once the original art studio home of a well known Yosemite Landscape Artist. Enjoy the openness of the 16 foot ceilings. High Windows flood the main room and bedrooms with light. Sleep to the soothing sound of Nelder creek (just off the deck). The creek which runs year round includes several tributaries, islands and a waterfall.
