The Coach House

This expertly refurbished 19th-century Coach House is full of character and all ready for your luxurious relaxing break. The open-plan living area has a exceptional view, and when you want a change there's a large smart TV and good-quality broadband for entertainment. The kitchen comes with induction hob and oven, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as all the pots, pans & utensils you need for cooking up delicious meals. The shower room/toilet is conveniently tucked away in a corner. Walk up the distinctive oak staircase to find the upstairs bedroom, with its impressive round window. It sleeps up to three people in a kingsize double bed and a separate single, and there's also room for a travel cot for an infant.The Coach House is ideal for a couple on a romantic escape, or for a family with young children looking for a safe space to relax and play. Lovely old small stone cottage recently renovated to a high standard, located in a quiet hamlet within easy reach of the Wye Valley, Hereford and the Marches, Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean. The cottage is surrounded by woodland and nature with walks in every direction from your doorway. The village is accessed from a single track lane and is very rural and peaceful, yet only 4 miles from Monmouth. There are two working farms in the village and farm traffic can just occasionally be busy.

The Long Barn is a beautifully converted stone barn situated above the Wye Valley, Monmouth with picturesque views over the Black Mountains and beyond. It's an ideal location for relaxing or walking and cycling straight from the door. Well behaved pets are very welcome. The property has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom plus en-suite, kitchen & lounge area and sleeps 7. Other features include oak flooring, log burner, wet room, patio & seating, BBQ & fire pit. Hot tub £/STA. The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

3 bedroom, peaceful, secluded, & large garden

Hidden away on the edge of the ancient Forest of Dean, in the beautiful Wye Valley, with a large secluded garden, accessed by a mile long, narrow, single track lane, hanging with ferns in summer. It's is a fabulous place for walkers and town escapees. Once a woodman’s cottage, with a cosy, spacious interior, fully equipped kitchen, log burner, very comfortable beds, all you need for a relaxing break. Not suitable for young children 1-12, the large garden has a pond and steep terracing.

Cwningfan: a rural idyll close to Monmouth

Cwningfan is ideally located for sporting or relaxing breaks. Less than a mile from Monmouth, voted best place to live in Wales, with its many restaurants, pubs and cafes, it provides easy access to the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. Golfers can enjoy great rounds at Rolls of Monmouth and Celtic Manor "Open" courses. Cyclists, canoeists and climbers are spoilt for choice. The area is rich in famous historical and heritage sites, many with free entry.

Welcome to The Potting Shed! A cosy couples retreat, renovated to a very high standard, with many funky features and fantastic attention to detail. Just a stroll away from our friendly, foodie village pub, right on Offa’s Dyke path. It’s a special place, nestled in its own little corner of my garden, with an emphasis on luxury and lovely things. Transformed from my everyday potting shed, it’s now a spacious, warm and welcoming hideaway for two which I’m very proud of.

Light, airy and welcoming with zip and link beds. We can accommodate 2-4 flexible to your needs. We are in a great spot for the Forest of Dean, the Brecon Beacons, Bike Park Wales, Cannop Cycle Centre and the Offa’s Dyke Path. There are lovely walks right from the door and so much to do nearby!

The semi- detached cottage is set in a peaceful location with breathtaking views of the Wye Valley. The cosy cottage is set in an ideal location for either a peaceful relaxing break or an active holiday with foot paths, bike trails, canoeing and rock climbing right on the door step. The cottage has its own garden with seating areas to sit and relax whilst taking in the panoramic views across the valley. There are a few traditional pubs and restaurants nearby.
