The Wissahickon Inn - The Cozy Cabin In The Woods

You'll love our cabin in the woods! Once a historic mercantile, the Wissahickon Cabin has been transformed into a cozy cabin for 2 - 4 guests. The cabin is situated in the forest and visible from the Gandy Dancer Trail. The front porch boasts an access path directly to the popular Woolly Bike Trail. Our cabin is secluded in the woods, but it's less than a 5-minute drive to downtown St Croix Falls, Interstate Park, dining, shopping, and entertainment. Enjoy a peaceful getaway in the north woods!

Black Dog Knotty Pine Loft

The Knotty Pine Loft is the upper level (700 sf) of our garage/guest building. Up a flight of stairs you'll find a pine paneled kitchen & living room, private bedroom, and 3/4 bath. Loft windows overlook the pine-oak woods, a tamarack marsh, and 300 yds away is Spooner Lake . Note: The Knotty Pine Loft was named the Lakeview Loft, but after a windstorm downed a number of big trees, new birch and red oak treeshave grown up and lessened the view of the lake. The view returns in the winter!

Memorable Cozy Lake Cabin on Cranberry Lake

Kick back and relax on Cranberry Lake. Wake up to the loons calling then enjoy breakfast with a great lake view. You can boat from Cranberry to the Minong Flowage and enjoy numerous dining options on the water. This is a small home but very cozy for 4 people. There is a screen house in the lawn as well as firepit and woodshed. Plenty of outdoor seating at the house and at the landing to the lake. You will thoroughly enjoy Cranberry Lake. Please note, there is marginal cell service and no wifi.

Built as a winter or summer escape for a couple or small group, this beautiful four season cabin is a great way to experience the Northwoods of Wisconsin in a modern, well-appointed, aesthetically rich space designed with relaxation in mind. Cabin is brand new as of January 2024. Host is 14 year "superhost" This is a default "no pets" cabin, however certain sizes and breeds are allowed by permission only. With quick access to CAMBA mountain bike trails (4 miles to the North End Trailhead), the Birkie Start Area (5 miles), and on an ATV route, it's a great basecamp for your outdoor activities. Sit on the deck and listen to the loons in the summer or warm up next to the woodstove or in the barrel sauna in the winter. Plenty of room to play! Scenic lake views from cabin. Lake Pokegama is known for its outstanding fishing (Large Mouth Bass, Northern Pike, Panfish and Crappies). Please specify if you will be bringing your dog. The pet fee is $95.00 for each dog for your entire stay (sorry no cats).
