Less than an hour from Minneapolis, the Loondocks is a sun-soaked, pet-friendly hideout on beautiful Big Eagle Lake. Natural stone steps (NOTE: These are uneven, so do not book if you have mobility concerns!) lead down to the bungalow-style house, a stylish bunkhouse, wood-burning sauna, spacious deck with lake views, and flat waterfront yard. This custom built home was completed and furnished 2016. Large lot, full walkout basement w/ bar, 5 bed + office with couch-sofa, 4.5 bath, screened porch, beautiful views. Master bed and guest master bed both include en-suite bath for inlaws/friends. There are 4 additional bedrooms. There is a dock with lake access (not great to swimming from shore), and local boat rentals available. 30 mins to downtown Minneapolis/Airport/Stadium/Mall of America. Great small town and quiet neighborhood

French Lake Escape

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Catch fish off the dock or grill something up! Start a log fire or push a button and sit at the fire table. Plenty of yard games or porch games if that's your style. We have a lighting control system and Sonos throughout to play your music. We are located near a Vinyard, a Distillery, downtown Faribault, and many golf courses. We also have a resort and set up bar located across the lake if you decide to bring your boat.
