Please note, it’s definitely not for cooking meals.

Includes bedroom (king) with french doors, living room with pullout couch, a covered deck, and cooking area (see notes). Unwind when you arrive with a good book from our library and relax on the deck overlooking the many rolling hills of our breathtaking and wild neighborhood. :)

Welcome to your quiet mountain retreat. Wake up under a canopy of trees and enjoy a morning coffee out on your own private patio. Get cozy with a restorative retreat in nature and make yourself at home after a scenic hike or day at the beach. You may catch the cherry blossoms in early spring and be visited by deer in the summer and fall. And in the winter, you’ll hear the meditative flow of the creek that runs along our property.

Fairfax Getaway in the Redwoods

This lovely little private studio is located on the lower level of our 3-story home in a magical redwood grove in Fairfax, California. The unit has a cozy Murphy bed, kitchenette, dishwasher, and bathroom with a large shower. Enjoy a private outdoor deck and patio surrounded by redwoods. There are two sweet cats on the premises. They don’t hang out in the unit but they love to visit guests and may occasionally enter the unit.

Conveniently, we are just blocks from grocery, parks, live theatre, live music and Mt. Tamalpais trails. This is a sweet retreat nestled in the eucalyptus trees, a 5-10 minute drive to hiking trails in the Marin Headlands, Muir Woods, Muir Beach and Green Gulch Farm, 15 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco. Perfect for weekend getaways or even a week of sight seeing in the Bay Area, our apartment offers quiet serenity and comfort. Relax and enjoy our private deck.
