Our home is just 7 minutes from Penn State University, with a bus stop within walking distance for easy transportation. Uber and Lyft are readily available, and you’ll find several restaurants nearby to enjoy during your stay. Please note that we open our home for rental only 30 days out of the year, so we kindly ask guests to be respectful of our space and staff. We’re excited to welcome visitors coming to Penn State and look forward to making your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The Log Cabin 10

The Log Cabin has 2 single bunks and 1 full bed. (BOTTOM FITTED SHEETS ONLY ON BEDS, YOU BRING TOWELS, BLANKETS AND PILLOWS). (NO BATHROOM OR SHOWER IN THE CABIN) We do have a bath house with showers and toilets. The cabin sleeps a maximum of 4 people. WE ALLOW ANY SIZE PETS IN THE THE LOG CABIN. It also includes a microwave, mini fridge, and table and chairs inside the cabin. There is also a heater and a window unit for AC. The cabin has its own Fire Ring and Picnic table.

The Bridal Suite Cabin 3

The Bridal Suite has 2 bedrooms, the 1st bedroom is private with 1 queen bed, the second bedroom has two bunk beds with 4 single bunks, sleeps a maximum of 6 adults, the kitchen is fully stocked. Price includes 4 people, Pets are allowed under 35 pounds only, additional fees apply, NON SMOKING. The deluxe cabins have bedding and bath towels and everything You need. There is firewood available for purchase as the cabin is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring.

Our vision for Apple Ridge Cottage is to create a place of quiet and peace- an invitation to "come apart and rest awhile". It overlooks our favorite valley spread with patchwork farmland and mountain views. We hope you curl up in one of our deep armchairs and take in the view from our living room bay window. Or wake to watch the sun flood the valley in golden light from the open sunroom. We hope you leave feeling rejuvenated and blessed!
