The cottage accomodation is totally private set in a beautiful garden setting in the grounds of the historic school house built in 1876. 20 minutes to Methven and 1 hour to Christchurch international Airport. The Double Tree Cottage is in an idyllic setting with expansive snow-capped mountain and farm views (seasonal). Mt Hutt Skifield, Opuke Hot Pools, Staveley Iceskating rink, DOC walking tracks and Methven Mt Hutt Village are all within a 15min drive. Located on our 32ha farm, watch sheep grazing metres from your door, native Kereru playing in the trees above you, or head out to many surrounding activities. Note: This is a mini studio style cottage so is very small and priced accordingly.

Welcome to our recently renovated home. Our home has a great log burner, heat pump and heat transfer. Open plan living and functional kitchen. All bedrooms are good size. Free wifi available. Methven offers both great winter and summer escapes, with the mountain base only 10 minutes from the house, where you can also find some great mountain walks/biking. Or you can relax in the Opuke hotpools, just a 15min walk. You won't be disappointed staying in our comfortable home.
