The Studio is close to The Cuillin mountains, Talisker Distillery, Loch Bracadale. You can walk out from the studio directly into the landscape to the beach, sea cliffs and beautiful birch woods. Sorry - Children over 9 only. Red Mountain Cottage is beautifully and quietly situated on the edge of Carbost village, with stunning views overlooking Loch Harport and towards the Cuillin Mountains. This is a small, modern, but very well appointed cottage/cabin has been lovingly created to a high specification, including handmade beds and sills & a feature wall. The cottage sleeps 3, but is ideal for couples seeking a romantic break, as well as for sight-seeing, walking and climbing.

I designed and built the house myself which is why it has a personal feel. it manages to be spacious and at the same time cosy. just a few minutes drive from Carbost with the "Old Inn" with its restaurant ,bar and trad music nights , the famous Talisker distillery is now complemented by “The three chimneys at Talisker “ and the coffee shop completes the village .

A combined living/bedroom/kitchen area provides: a comfortable KS bed, table with 2 chairs , large cupboard, kitchenette containing: fridge/freezer, dishwasher, combi microwave/grill, airfryer and toastie maker. Additionally there is a walk in wet room and a shed for boots and bikes. Outdoor seating is provided.
