Coon Creek Camping Cabin

The Coon Creek Camping Cabin is a remote and rustic cabin in the Medicine Bow mountain range. This cabin is for the adventurous camper who wants to get off the beaten path. It has aerial views as well as trail head access and close to the Sand Dunes. Free Trailhead parking with a short 3 minute hike to your cabin (recommend packing light). Enjoy the quiet beauty of nature in this truly Wild place. Hike into the Non motorized areas of the State Forest or bring your ATVs for some fun in the Sand.

Historic cabin built in 1950 by our great grandfather at the confluence of two Laramie River tributaries on 12 acres at the foot of the Snowy Range Mountains. 1600 square foot home with modern amenities in an authentic Wyoming mountain setting. Enjoy the beautiful views right off of Highway 130 Snowy Range. This cabin is located near Elkhollow Creek nestled in the moss rocks and cedar trees. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful scenery. 11 miles from Saratoga you are in the perfect area to enjoy the country but have the amenities of town close. We recommend 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive in the winter.
