Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

After a fun day in The Driftless Area, come relax and unwind in Prairie du Chien. Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom home with a spacious kitchen, large island, dishwasher, washer/dryer & 5' walk in shower. We supply all cooking/baking items/utensils. High-speed internet with smart TVs in both bedrooms and living room. Outdoor pool (seasonal), hot tub and massage chair. We love dogs too, so we provide a dog run (there is a pet fee). For our fishermen- there is off street parking for your boats.

Nestled among two acres in the rolling hills and lush greenery of the Driftless Area, this A-frame cabin stands as a serene retreat, blending harmoniously with its natural surroundings. Seated in the heart of the Kickapoo valley, there's no shortage of class 1 trout streams near by, public hunting easements, UTV trails, hiking, canoeing and easy access to all of the wonderful amenities the area offers.

Modern Rustic Family Getaway- Our cabin is not a place to stay while on vacation...our cabin is the vacation! You can come and enjoy the surrounding areas if you want, but you can also just come and spend the entire time away from the outside world. It is a quiet, peaceful, relaxing place to just unwind. Located up on a bluff, between Prairie Du Chien and Ferryville, this cabin gets you about 5 minutes from the river but allows you the serenity of being tucked away in the trees.

Take it easy, relax and enjoy all that this beautiful area has to offer. Great bird and nature watching opportunities from our cabin and the decks! Our cabin has been newly renovated and is the perfect spot to explore the area. It is best suited for 1 or 2 people - 4 guests maximum (2 adults and 2 children, or 4 adults). The bedroom has 1 queen bed and 1 bunk bed in the same room with a full on the bottom and a twin on top. A queen sofa sleeper is located in the living room.

The Timber Ridge Hideaway is the perfect NE Iowa family retreat, with 4 bedrooms/2 bathrooms on both levels with a Bunk Bed for kids downstairs and boasting over 2200 total Sq feet. Take in the beauty of the woods and all the wildlife from the covered deck and relax in the large outdoor Hot Tub Jacuzzi available year round or the swimming pool during the warmer summer months. Just minutes away from the Mississippi River and Yellow River Forest. Sleeps up to 14.

This 1870’s historic cottage has been updated with a modern flare! Centrally located to restaurant’s, gas stations, a grocery store and bike path. With the Turkey River literally in your back yard the recreational possibilities are endless from fishing, floating, kayaking or hiking! We also have several ATV/UTV trails around the area. We offer private off street parking and a private fenced patio! Come stay with us in beautiful NEIA!

Rustic River on Main

Beams and barn boards give this two bedroom cottage a rustic style all it's own. The European influence found throughout the home, helps create an atmosphere of tranquility. Throw some steaks on the grill and enjoy a glass of wine in your private courtyard. The year round hot tub is a great way to unwind at the end of your day with access to the courtyard straight from the master bedroom. Pets are welcome with an additional fee.
