Revamped Minimalist Stone Country House

Nestled on the foot of mount Giouchtas, in the picturesque village of Archanes, our stone countryhouse is located in one of the most central and beautiful parts of the area. Archanes are 20 minutes away from the centre of Heraklion(15km), 15 minutes away from Heraklion's International airport, 15 minutes away from the famous Minoan palace of Knossos, as well as 20 minutes away from numerous beautiful beaches. Situated in the center of the most important wine-producing region of Crete, it has a 5000 years old history, while excavations conducted in the last 50 years have brought to light a lot of sites dating back to the Minoan period. The village is also very famous for its typical Cretan architecture. Most of the houses have been restored recently and Archanes has won the second award as “the best restored village in Europe”. The house enjoys a spacious interior and a private garden, which is protected by a peripheral wall. This is a typical characteristic of old Cretan houses of the area. Guests enter the private garden through the gate which then leads to the main building. I am always at the disposal of my guests, so that I can make their holiday problem-free. My guests can reach me at my mobile phone, text me or send a message directly to my inbox. Furthermore, there is a free parking very close to the house. The country house is only 20’ away from the “Nikos Kazantzakis Airport” and the port. The archeological site of Knossos is 15’ away.

Villa Red Beach is a beautiful two-storey house in island architectural style in colors of white and blue. Located in the village of Matala on the hill with magnificent views of the cliff caves, the sea, the beach and the village. It is named after the wonderful Red Beach which you can reach through a small path the leads in front of the house. Exterior features large terraces and a pendant balcony from where you have a magnificent view over the village Matala, the sea and the famous caves.

Castri House

Castri house is a unique, beautiful property ideal for couples and families up to 5 people. Castri is located on the beginning of the hiking trail that leads to the Red beach. It is on the highest level of Matala and has the most amazing, breath taking open view. It is ideal for people who love nature, sea, hiking and is not a typical home. You have to walk it's path to go there. It only takes 4 minutes to walk up from the main square, but the view is rewarding you in the most special way.

It is 10 minutes away from the famous beaches of Matala, Kommos,Agiofarago, Kalamaki, Kokkinos Pyrgos and Kaloi Limenes. Because it’s in the south part of Crete, even in the windy days you can find a beach that’s calm enough for swimming. The Minoan palace of Faistos, the archeological site of Gortyna, the cave-graves of Matala are also only 10 minutes away.
