High Calling

High Calling is the lower level of a home on Cataloochee Mountain, at 4300’ elevation. Enjoy the panoramic views year round from a private covered porch or around the fire pit as you relax with the peaceful sound of the creek below. A charcoal grill is also provided. Two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with one full bed and one twin bed face mountain views. A sitting area with a television and games, kitchenette and coffee station are provided, along with snacks and drinks.

If you are coming to the mountains, why not stay IN the mountains? Enjoy the cool mountain air, breath-taking views, & peaceful surroundings. Away from it all, but close to town. This is a newly constructed, full-size, standalone one-bedroom apartment. Ideal for a couple, or family with 1 or 2 children. Roomy bedroom with king-sized bed & living room with sleeper sofa. Additionally, the Great Smokey National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Cataloochee ski area are nearby with scenic drives, nature trails, and a variety of hikes for outdoor enthusiasts. In extreme winter conditions roads may require 4 wheel drive.

Or if you are exploring the area then it is the perfect home base for adventures in the mountains or to Asheville for breweries, dining or shopping.

The Tree House: Luxury with a View

Welcome! This luxury treehouse home has floor to ceiling windows with 360 * views of the NC Smoky Mountains. The amazing open floor plan has a huge fully equipped kitchen to hang out and relax with your friends and family. Enjoy the sunrise/sunset from bed or on the wrap around porch. Sit by the outdoor fire pit with a glass of wine and share some stories or read a book while overlooking the mountains. Enjoy air hockey/ping pong/arcade games and karaoke. Paved road access to home.

Hammock View

Honey Mooners log cabin apartment, located with a Smoky Mountains stunning view, is the lower living quarters which is completely separated from the upper level. Sleeps up to 4 people comfortably. Spacious with a cozy living room, dinning room, one bedroom with king size bed, and a relaxing sunroom. Sofa bed. One full bathroom with linens and towels provided. Wi-Fi, Netflix, and gas fireplace, fire-pit, laundry and a full kitchen set up. Pets must be approved before booking.

Welcome to Blackberry Cottage! Our quaint, imperfect Farm Cottage was built in 1928 and much of it was updated in the spring of 2020. Come relax in the heated/cooled Cottage and enjoy the beautiful scenery and splendor that the Mountains of Western NC has to offer. Take day trips and visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Waynesville, Canton, and Asheville then settle back into one of our cozy beds back at Blackberry Cottage...
