For cyclists there are great road routes or if you are more of a mountain biker we are 15mins drive from Oneplanet Adventure. Offa’s Dyke path is a short walk from the cottage, alternatively the village's community pub & shop is a 15min walk. Birdwatchers love watching for Kingfishers on our deck which overlooks the river Alyn.

Ruthin has numerous restaurants, pubs and take-aways (which includes deliveries). North Wales attractions are accessible by car with Snowdonia and Zip World only 1hr drive away. Walks and cyclepaths are plentiful in the surrounding area.

A cosy converted semi-detached beamed cottage set within a farmhouse courtyard. The house is surrounded by glorious views of North Wales in a peaceful setting with bulls and cows in our paddocks. Just 14 miles from Chester and within an hour’s drive from Snowdonia. It can comfortably sleep up to three people (plus infant) by using the sofa bed in the sitting room. Cottage is fully equipped with travel cot/high chair if required. A perfect base to explore North Wales & Chester.

There is plenty of walks to do in the area - Snowdonia and Clwydian range, Offa’s Dyke and plenty of beautiful lakes.

Welcome to our charming shepherd’s hut, nestled away in a private woodland. The hut is equipped with a comfortable double-bed with space for a child’s bed if required. Shower and Flush toilet are within an upcycled boat wheelhouse 30meters away. There is a king size bed in the living room and an additional put up bed or travel cot can be added for an extra guest. Separate kitchen and shower room with a large shower, loo and small basin. There is one step down to the kitchen and shower room - the floor is wooden and the living area is carpeted.
