Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Canoe from the boat slip down river to the long Island community center. This home has a living room, furnished kitchen, bathroom, & bedroom with a queen bed on the main floor, 2 loft floor mattresses; basement has a full bed and bathroom. A gas grill and fire ring are provided. You will have Wifi, Roku TV screens, puzzles, card games, and corn hole. The Blue Ridge Parkway is nearby. This cabin is 15 min from the AT at mile marker 809.1.

The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.
