This home offers a comfy, cozy environment making it perfect for a getaway or your home away from home while on business. BONUS - If you are a "pet parent" and love to travel with your 4-legged child you will love the fact that the front door has a "doggy door" making it easy to go outside, which is fully fenced and safe. Guests have a private garage (with opener) which allows direct access for parking your car and going up the stairs to your vacation (or work) oasis. Guests have access to a fully fenced outside area with table, umbrella and chairs. This area is perfect if you like to sit outside and enjoy your coffee. And if you are a "pet parent" this is where the doggy door allows your "child" to go. Our property is a two-on-one and we live in the front house. The homes are separated by a courtyard that is fully enclosed via fencing, which we use. We will be present during our guests stay so we are happy to assist any way possible to provide our guests with a great and enjoyable experience. In Belmont Heights everything is within walking distance, and all the homes have charm and character. It is a lovely, quiet, and friendly neighborhood. The area's long-time feral parrots serve as mascots and add to the vibrant feel. It's easy to get around. We very centrally located between LA and The OC. There is plenty of room behind garage for a large truck to park there and still have room to open the other garage, which is our personal garage that we (Jim and Susan) use. If parking behind garage do NOT leave anything in your vehicle overnight. Even though this is a very safe and quiet neighborhood do NOT leave anything visible, just for good measure and common safety.

This Spanish-style guest house is located behind the front house fuses traditional elements of terracotta tiles and colorful artwork with a chic white interior and darker wood fixtures. Just steps away from the beach and bustling shops, cafes and eateries on 2nd Street. The unit is beautifully decorated and appointed. Dishes, glassware and flatware included. Located behind a house with side entrance. Very private. Steps to beach, bay, bike and pedestrian path, 2nd Street and Naples. Will add additional photos shortly. Backyard and propane grill. Foot shower, outdoor sink, seating area, etc. We spend time in CA and stay in the house located on the front of the property. We are available to assist you as needed. Love the access to restaurants, shops, grocery store, beach and bay. Amazing walking area! Fabulous free events year round - music, art, children's events, food and beverage festivals, etc. You do not need a car. Long Beach transit system is excellent. Buses can be accessed on 2nd street (half a block away) and water taxi is available from the Granada Boat Launch (on Ocean Avenue). Favorite Restaurants: Casual: Simzy's, Tavern on 2, Michaels Pizzeria (Naples), Taco Surf, Super Mex, Angelo's Deli, Chucks on Ocean (for Breakfast), Baja Fish Tacos (opening in September). Nicer/More Upscale: Michaels (Naples), Nick's on 2nd, Sushi on Fire, Boubouffe (reasonable for caliber of food), Creperie, Open Sesame, etc. Coffee: Peets, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Starbucks, Roma di Aroma, Starbucks, etc. Other area restaurants: Starling Diner (B/L) on 3rd and Belmont, At Last Cafe (2nd/Orange), Lola's (on 4th), Potholder (on Broadway), Christy's (on Broadway), Cafe Piccolo (on Broadway) Belmont Shore is a vibrant and friendly neighborhood where walking is the preferred method of transportation. Try many of the wonderful nearby restaurants in Belmont Shore, Naples and Belmont Heights, spend the day immersing yourselves in fun water activities by the beach, and partake in one or more of the many cultural and music events that occur year round.

This listing is for the back house of a duplex with a completely separate entrance, separate private yard, own parking and 2 car garage accessed via alley with no shared walls. ***If you are bringing a pet, make sure that you include pet in your booking. There is a $75 pet fee. ***
