Woodside is a stunning 1850s Victorian mansion. The beautifully renovated top floor apartment has two bedrooms and private bathroom. There is a seating area in the twin bedroom and fridge/microwave/coffee machine in the hallway. An ideal base for visiting the area or for a stop-over. Grounds are extensive and views are breathtaking. Loch Long shore is at the bottom of the garden and there is a kids play area. Easy access to Loch Lomond, Glasgow, Arrochar Alps, Faslane and Coulport Naval bases.

Open all year. For couples, 2 friends or solo travellers . Dogs are very welcome. I expect to be at the lodge to meet you when you arrive. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Enjoy. It is easily accessible by car, being a 1 hour 15 minute drive from Glasgow airport, taking you along the stunning shores of Loch Lomond.

Dunans Cottage

Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.
