Converted former byre in bucolic surroundings. Located just outside the village of Strachur, it is an ideal stop for anyone walking the Cowal Way and is close to the unexplored mountains of Cowal and the beautiful Loch Eck and Loch Fyne. The little cottage shares a garden with the main house (where I live most of the time) and is set amongst mature trees, rippling burns and abundant wildlife including chirruping birds, red squirrels and pine martens. A lovely place to unwind and relax.

Loch Awe Camping Pod 4 with Mountain and Loch View

Cosy camping pod overlooking Loch Awe, with stunning mountain views. A total of 6 dog friendly pods are located adjacent to lochawe in the village of Dalavich. Pod 4 has 1 dbl and 1 sgl bed and a mattress for kids. The village has a shop, licensed cafe and pub (seasonal opening), bike hire are available nearby. Bring everything you would as if you were camping except the tent, there are shared public toilet facilities with hot water and an outside tap for drinking water.

The Nest is a lovely glamping cabin with an en-suite bathroom. Located in the grounds of Ardteatle this gorgeous little cabin allows you to relax, get back to nature, enjoy beautiful views, bbq, and at the end of the day enjoy a very comfortable warm double bed and en suite bathroom.
