This mid-terrace cottage is situated in a hamlet, two miles outside of Bala, a gateway to Snowdonia National Park with pubs, restaurants and outdoor activities. Our cottage is surrounded by farms and hills, a perfect spot for a getaway. There are walking paths in front of the house, leading you through the stunning Welsh landscape; Llyn Tegid (Lake Bala) is a 5 minute drive away and Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon) 60 minutes. The beaches by the Llyn Peninsula and Barmouth are only 45m away. Pet free.

Patio doors from the lounge open onto a side garden where you can enjoy BBQs, and in the enclosed garden there are views of Bala lake and mountains. There's a kingsize bed upstairs + a kingsize sofa bed downstairs to sleep four.

Yr Efail is situated in Llanfor a small village 3/4 of a mile from the market town of Bala. The property is a converted blacksmiths workshop were the owners family have worked since 1905. Recently renovated into a fully equipped self catering cottage. The property is single story providing easy access for all. Shops, restaurants and pubs are situated in Bala which you can reach by road or on foot along a footpath. We live in the village and available to recommend places to eat and visit.

The semi-detached cottage offers open plan kitchen, living and dining area with underfloor heating and a cosy log burner. It has two bedrooms and can sleep a total of three people. There is a private garden to the side with seating.

The stunning Llangower lake shore is less than 5mins walk where you will find toilet facilites, parking (although not needed as you are close enough to walk) picnic area and a lovely atmosphere all year round. Visitors are able to launch paddleboards etc on the lake and many swim.
