We have a shop in Brechfa and also 2 local pubs offering excellent food.. We are minutes from the forest walks and enjoy peace and quiet with stunning views. If you fancy a fire pit we can supply a wheelbarrow full of wood etc for £5 Llandeilo Pottery & Art studio on site. It is possible to hike to Carreg Cennan & the black mountains from here. There is an Alpaca sanctuary within a 10 min walk across footpath in fields. If you Paraglide I can give knowledge of the local sites. Fridge & Microwave for your own use in room.

The area is renowned for its peace and tranquility offering a quiet, relaxing break with all the mod cons. Beaches within 40 mins and local shop 15mins away. Main shopping centre 30mins away.

Further out are the Gower and Tenby beaches and walks and waterfalls of Brecon.

Red Kite barn is a recently converted barn in a beautiful courtyard setting, located between the villages of Llandybie and Derwydd in Carmarthenshire. Self-contained with your own entrance, a truly comfortable home from home to stay in, whilst exploring the beautiful Welsh countryside. It is attached to a bigger barn where we live, and another 2 bed opposite. We are dog friendly, please read the house rules before booking, and please let us know if you are bringing your dog at time of booking.
