Please note: Bathroom is open to the bedroom. I live in a little cottage next to the house so will be around 😎 Animals have the right of way here! SPEED LIMIT IS 30KM/H. Please be vigilant of little animals in the road! Bushbabies live in the house and have right of way ☝🏼 Even with all their little poopies!

Just 15km out of Haenertsberg, and directly on the R528, it is perfect for a weekend of relaxation or adventuring on the mountain. The diverse local fauna attracts significant bird life - making the panoramic view perfect for bird watching.

Covid 19 response, all our staff are vaccinated and the Tent is completely isolated. There is no contact with any other guests.

Sabie has all the essential shops, supermarkets and excellent restaurants.

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is an ideal escape from city life. Located in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, it has the attraction of being close to the restaurants and shops of Hoedspruit whilst providing access to the Greater Kruger & the Blyde River Canyon. The cottage is available to rent for short term stays of 2-14 nights for up to 4 adults on an exclusive basis. If you are a larger family please contact me to see if arrangements can be made. Conveniently situated only 3km from Haenertsburg. Ideal for a romantic interlude and outdoor enthusiasts. Launch site for boaters and fisherman. Suited for MTBiking, walkers, trial runners and birders.
