The hosts live on the property, but the cabin is situated where it feels very private and you do not see the hosts house from the cabin. The cabin faces the woods and there is a private trail down to the creek. Take a break from everyday life, and escape to this unique and quiet retreat in the Catoctin Mountains.

Our cabin is located on a private stoned road. Very quiet and remote location. Keep this in mind when booking. 25 minute drive to downtown Gettysburg, 40 minutes to Carlisle Fairgrounds. Near Michaux State Forest, Pine Grove Furnace State Park and Caledonia State Park; many hiking, ATV and snow mobile trails. For those that enjoy skiing we are 30 minutes to Liberty Mountain in Fairfield and 50 minutes to Roundtop Mountain in Lewisberry.

Misty Hill Lodge - 2 BR, 2 BA, 1930's Log Cabin in Frederick will be the place where all your stress disappears as soon as you arrive. 5 wooded acres, Huge 29x29 Great Room, 80" Smart TV, Central AC/Heat. Built from American Chestnut trees that lined the property, (15min to downtown Frederick, 5 min to Middletown). The property features incredible wildlife.

Catoctin Cabin and nearby farm!

Come and relax at our private, log cabin, located on 9 wooded acres, with a creek running through at the bottom of the property. In addition to the rental of the Catoctin Cabin, please feel free to ask about access to our farm (just two minutes away), as well as additional accommodations and tours.
