St. Helens, explore the Ape Caves, visit nearby waterfalls, or hit up the tourist-attracting Ilani Casino located under 15 minutes away. Patio with hot tub and BBQ. Room for boat/RV parking. This is a place where wonderful things happen! Watch the birds and fish, enjoy nature. Relax and get refreshed. There are games for outside and inside. Because this is a rural area, the cell phone reception is not so good in some areas of the house, especially downstairs. TV works well and texting works everywhere. WiFi is good. We ask our guests to agree to our house rules and sign a Liability Waiver before checking in.

Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.

Cozy Mt. Hood Cabin

Our mountain cabin is the perfect getaway whether snow or sun! This two story, two bedroom cabin is great for couples, families or small groups. Updated and well stocked, with a gorgeous view of the Sandy River. Sorry, we no longer allow pets due to an unfortunate incident with a pup, but we do have our own dogs at the cabin from time to time if you are super sensitive to pet hair.
