Welcome to The Burrows, a 1860's stone cottage we have sensitively reimagined & restored, opening it up to take in the ever changing view over Freycinet peninsula. A large living space is the heart of the home with a wood fire at one end, feather sofa, armchairs and a custom made window seat overlooking Great Oyster Bay. Both bedrooms have amazing views over the water & our intimate bath house with clawfoot bath & french doors is the perfect place to watch the sunset reflected over the Hazards

Raffah House

3 bedroom, sandstone home conveniently located in the heart of idyllic Oatlands, nestled in the peaceful southern midlands of Tasmania, you will arrive at Raffah House via Tasmania's Heritage Highway - the majestic gateway from the North to the South. We know dogs are a part of the family too and welcome them. However, to maintain the comfort and standard of the property, we allow a maximum of two dogs per stay. Please ensure they’re clean, well-supervised, and kept off furniture and bedding.

Enjoy your time in Oatlands in a self contained guest suite with a private entrance. Well insulated, clean and cosy space. Small cottage with a double bed and BIR. Park near the entrance door. No stairs. Spacious bathroom with a shower, bath, vanity and a toilet. Small lounge and a kitchen with cooking appliances, tv, fridge and a washing machine. Quiet neighborhood, away from the main road. Short walk to Oatlands IGA, cafes, shops, medical centre, mill, aquatic centre and the lake.

Your space is a modern, clean, fully self-contained studio apartment on a beautiful 15 acre property, with stunning views, 30 minutes from Hobart city and 15 minutes from the airport. Tawny is a custom built Tiny House, whose name is inspired by the elusive Tawny Frogmouth who live in the area. With luxury bedding and facilities, an outdoor bath and stunning location overlooking Spring Bay, Tawny offers a tranquil, intimate space to relax and unwind from the everyday. A short drive to a choice of amazing beaches and short walks; Maria Island and local eateries. You can relax in the boat shed by day and in the evening, gaze at the stars by the warmth of the fire pit.

Rostrevor Pickers Cottage

Sandra & Ricky are pleased to be hosting Rostrevor Pickers Cottage located just 3 minutes from the Maria Island Ferry. Stroll around the historical Rostrevor farm which was once one of the largest orchards in the southern hemisphere and is now a family run fine wool and hereford cattle farm with many original buildings on site. This lovingly restored farm shed turned contemporary cottage is nestled in the shade of a centuries old oak tree, perfect for taking in the country quiet.

Beachfront Studio on Great Oyster Bay

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Listen to the ocean and the birds and enjoy glimpses of the magnificent sunrise and sunset across the bay to Freycinet and Schouten Island. We live next door in a new house, but the Studio has been positioned to ensure your privacy. You have your own beachfront spot to relax on a deckchair. Dolphin Sands is a beautiful beach and offers endless walking and swimming opportunities. Swansea is a 30 minute walk by beach.

You instantly feel “at home” at the blackshack. Please Note: Our very last booking weekend will be the 5th June 2026 to allow us to prepare for the sale of our Airbnb/home. Hopefully we can sell as an ongoing business so that you can all still enjoy this amazing space

Our Cottage

Our Cottage is a family friendly self contained accommodation. Our Cottage is a short 3 minute walk close to the famous Ross Village Bakery well known for Kikki. A spacious three bedroom house welcomes couples or can sleep up to 6 guests. 2 bedrooms with queen bed, bedroom three has 2 single beds. Open plan kitchen living area. Bathroom with a bath and walk in shower. No Pets - No parties -off Street parking. WFI available
