As one who loves to travel and hospitality is my “thing” I can assure you that my cozy cottage is the perfect place for all travelers, including traveling nurses, doctors, backpack travelers. It has everything needed to cook your own meals. We provide bed sheets, towels, toiletries, coffee, cream and sugar, WiFi, pack and play, parking for more than 3 vehicles. Excellent walking location to Morrison Community Hospital, Whiteside County Courthouse , gas stations, McDonald’s, grocery store.

Downtown Freeport, walking distance to movies, bars, restaurants. Some of the summer activities include concert on the square once a month, market every Saturday. The largest car show with 1000 old cars, the air show. If you like to walk or ride a bike there’s Jane Adam’s trail. Krape park is beautiful with many trails on the river where you can rent kayaks. The kitchen is apartment sized but boasts a counter top induction cook top, oven, microwave, Keurig,and refrigerator.

Owners are next door. River and marina short block away within walking distance. Grocery store half a block away within walking distance. Downtown less than a mile. Galena about half hour. Iowa 5 min away and casino in Iowa 20-25 min. Palisades State Park 5 min away. This is a cozy cottage with use of deck and grill, and full amenities to cook in house if you like.
