ADK's South Shore Retreat

Enjoy your time in the ADK relaxing at our newly renovated, private and spacious home. This is a 4 season retreat. We have lake rights to Lake Pleasant-swimming, kayaking, or canoeing are only a 10-15 min walk or short drive. Please note: our lake access is shared with neighbors. Rent a boat for a day of fun. There is also plenty of hiking nearby. In the winter, enjoy the slopes, Oak Mountain is 5 mins away and Gore Mountain, only 30 mins. There is quick trail access for your snowmobile as well.

Create memories at our lakefront cottage with private beach and dock in the heart of the ADK Mountains. Lake and mountain views greet you from large picture windows. Located just steps from Lake Pleasant Golf Course and close to Camp of the Woods, this property is also near hiking trails, groceries, dining & shopping as well as being on the "sunset side" of the lake. Aluminum dock, kayaks, canoe, SUP &paddleboat provided, as well as all linens, Beekman 1802 toiletries and well stocked kitchen.

The Speculator Guest House is fully renovated to offer an elevated and thoughtful stay. Walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, or the sandy beach on Lake Pleasant (.6 miles). Each guest receives individualized local recommendations. Guests have their own private apartment but shared outside amenities including patio, firepit, playset, yard, grill, kayaks, paddleboards, canoe, and dock seasonally May-September. Shared outdoor 7-person hot tub.
