Our cabin is nestled in a wooded area & is very private. 15 minutes from 3 different towns with Wadena being the biggest. There's a queen bed on the main floor bedroom and a queen bed in the loft bedroom. WIFI/ cable television are available. Can sleep with the windows open or use the air conditioning. Outdoor pets are welcome, no pets inside please. You will have a view of the pond & we see deer on a daily basis. We will supply bedding, bath towels, cooking utensils, plates, cups & silverware.

Dog-Friendly Breezy Point | Fenced Yard, Fire Pit

Welcome to Boulder Rock Bungalow, a family-friendly, dog-friendly retreat in Breezy Point. This thoughtfully curated home features a large fully fenced yard for kids and dogs, plus a fire pit with string lights for cozy evenings. You’re just a short walk from the beach, resort, golf course, and favorite bars and restaurants, so everything you need is within reach. Bringing a boat? The public boat landing is just three blocks away. Ample parking makes travel with kids, pets, and lake toys easy!

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. Joan and I live on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r." Diversity is welcome.

Northern Retreat - Hot Tub, Sauna, Tennis Court

The Clubhouse has 2 bd/2 ba with a full kitchen, living room & deck. It shares a 4-acre wooded lot with a 1 bd/1 ba cabin (rented separately) and tennis court, outdoor sauna & hot tub, stretching/exercise room, & walking trail. One bed is king-sized, one is a full. Plus there's a futon in the living room. A one-room bunk house (3 bunks) available to rent, too. Downtown Nisswa & Paul Bunyan Trail just 1 mile away. DOG FRIENDLY! The house is professionally cleaned between every reservation.

The River Lodge

The River Lodge sits on a peaceful 5 acres on the banks of the Mississippi River featuring three levels with 7 bedrooms plus additional sleeping areas in the loft and game room, making it possible to fit up to 22 guests. The great room provides a large gathering space, perfect for reunions and retreats. With 3 additional living rooms all with smart TVs, 5 bathrooms, a game room with ping pong, several outdoor sitting areas, a beautiful fire pit patio and hot tub to enjoy, there's fun for all!

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

Escape into the forest at the Ursa Minor cabin. Built in 2017, this comfortable and tranquil getaway includes a full kitchen, bathroom with a cedar-lined shower, electric in-floor heat, a wood stove, warm pine siding throughout, and a spacious sleeping loft. A covered porch, fire pit and fully-stocked woodshed are right outside the door. Your stay includes access to more than ten kilometers of trails traversing hundreds of acres of private woodland originating steps from your door.

Solitude! Just over two hours from the cities this cabin is just far enough away to truly feel up north. Only 10 miles from Baxter, 20 miles from Crosby but a thousand miles from the rat race. This property is set on a secluded 2.5 acre plot that will provide ample opportunity to connect with nature. Relax and enjoy the solitude! Less than 10 miles away from Brainerd International Speedway and only 2.3 miles away from the Paul Bunyan Trail. TV has a Roku streaming device.

Pedal and Pine on the Lake

On the shore of Clark Lake and nestled under a canopy of Norway pines, the cabin provides a cozy getaway. With lake access, you can fish right from the dock, enjoy a paddle on the water, or relax by the outdoor fire pit. The Paul Bunyan trail is just steps away. Bike or stroll (or snowmobile!) straight into the town of Nisswa, home to shops, great coffee, and unique places to eat. In the warmer months, you might even see some turtles racing downtown!

Escape to this unique getaway and enjoy views of Bass Lake and a small pond that surrounds the property. This modern cabin sits up high on a hill and overlooks the water. Surrounded by nature, you will get a true sense of serenity. Inside, the space comfortably sleeps 3 with one private queen bedroom and a daybed in the main area. We have a firepit, chairs, and a BBQ grill for guest use. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space.

This cozy pet friendly cabin overlooks the serene Pine River. With a hot tub, wood fire stove and wood fire sauna, there are many options of relaxation during your stay. With 5 acres of wooded land, there is plenty of space to roam, explore and enjoy and array of wildlife. Try out the snow shoes, kayaks, or drive 10 minutes to Cuyuna Rec Biking trails and the cute town of Crosby with many fun restaurants and shops to choose from.
