The Goldendale Observatory, Presby Museum, Maryhill Museum and Vineyard, Stonehenge Memorial and St. John the Forerunner Monastery and Bakery are great places to explore and are about 15 minutes away. No skating during winter month where pond is icy and sleek. Golf cart is temporarily out of order. 3 bedrooms, has 2 queen bed and 1 full bed. Has 2 bathrooms. Entire kitchen is functional, spices, oven, fridge, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave etc. Bar height dining table and chairs seats six people.

The Red House built for the ‘Horse King of the Northwest’ Charles Newell and his wife Mary in 1890, is now a distinctive vacation rental. The Red House’s three stories are furnished with art, antique/vintage finds, colored glass windows, original ornamental trim, fresh linens and comfortable beds. Kick back and relax in this quiet retreat! After a day of kiting, biking, hiking, fishing, skiing, shopping and wine tasting you'll be ready to relax, grill some dinner, and hang by the fire pit. My house is cozy and stylish and the perfect place to chill while enjoying your gorge vacation. Bonus: you can see the Lyle sandbar from the yard and walk to it when you're ready to get on the water! Just 15 minutes to White Salmon and Hood River, and 20 minutes to The Dalles.

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.
