Holmlea was built as a weaver’s cottage in the 1840s and was entirely renovated in 2023. We’re proud of how warm and calming the space now is. Our aim has been to provide a stylish, timeless 5* hotel environment in a small, self-contained cottage. One UK king bedroom plus a proper double sofabed downstairs. Netherthird is a stunning detached farmhouse set in a wonderfully elevated position, with the most glorious views of the surrounding Galloway Hills. Netherthird was fully renovated in 2020 and has been lovingly furnished to ensure a truly comfortable and welcome family retreat. There is an amazing barbecue hut, with charcoal barbecue and ample seating, perfect for enjoying with friends and a glass or two of wine. Relax in the large hot tub taking in the clear dark skies at night.

Valley View is my cosy detached house situated in a semi-rural location within 10 minutes drive from both Dumfries town centre and Thornhill. There are many things to do in Dumfries. It can be a parkland golf course, mountain bike trails at the 7 stanes, camera obscura, a farmers market, restaurants, children's play parks, hills, rivers, forest walks and much more. Dumfries' museums are also treasure troves for uncovering the local history including Robert Burns.

Kirkland Cottage

Kirkland Cottage is completely self-contained and is attached to our main house in an enclosed, secluded and large garden. Although only two miles from Dumfries Town Centre it is in a quiet, rural location. There is ample parking beside the cottage and a lockable room for storage of bicycles and other leisure equipment. The cottage provides a great base from which to enjoy the many cultural and outdoor activities available in the immediate locality.

2 king size bedrooms, one ensuite with a further 2 single beds and wc on the mezzanine level. A bathroom with shower over the bath. Fully furnished kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher. We have a dog secure garden and a shed to lock bikes in. We are between 10/30 mins from 3 of the 7stanes cycling trails and 6 miles from several beaches or hills for walking. You are 5 mins drive away from the market town of Castle Douglas.

The Old Schoolhouse

A Victorian Schoolhouse, now a cozy and stylish home. The Old Schoolhouse has 3 bedrooms, shower room & en suite bathroom. Wood stove in the lounge, open fire in the kitchen, and central heating. Light, bright, with a large garden looking onto the fields beyond- snowdrops in the spring, cherries in summer, and apples in autumn. The occasional escapee hen wandering about. The perfect place for a proper holiday.

Dumfries and Galloway is a part of Southern Scotland often overlooked by those heading North to the Highlands. It retains a slow old fashioned character and is a hub for arts and crafts as well as having many lovely beaches, pubs and restaurants. Our cottage is just the thing for getting away from modern life and relaxing. Exceptionally quiet and peaceful with gorgeous views, great walks etc. Dogs are welcome

The Sparrow Cottage Mire house

The Sparrow cottage is perfect for romantic, cosy nights away and to explore the beautiful fells. Head outside to the private dining area overlooking countryside and fell views. Watch the newborn lambs being born in springtime and listen to the beautiful birds all year round. On a lovely starry night enjoy a soak in your luxury private hot tub with a glass of bubbles and a good book.

The Silo Cumbria

The Silo is a completely unique holiday stay, based in the beautiful countryside in North Cumbria. Originally a grain store tower, it has been completely reimagined and renovated as a one bedroom home-away-from-home. The unique building has retained the shape and structure of the original silo with luxury amenities and finishes throughout.
