Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).

New concrete car park and another car port with shed, plenty of car parking for boat, van and trailers in front of the house.

The Pink House

This lovely small cottage originally came into my family as a retirment home for my (then) 90 year old mother, Olive. She loved the place except for its original colour and so promptly painted it Pink. The house has many of her touches still in it, such as the cross stitch pictures framed on the walls. Nana Olive was well known through Tokoroa for her hospitality and warm welcome she offered at the Pink House, and we are delighted to continue this tradition.

Panetapu House is located just 2 hours from Auckland Airport, and 45 minutes from both Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves. 1hr15 from Rotorua and 1hr20 from Taupo. Nearby is Sanctury Mountain-Maungatautari, Otorohanga Kiwi House, both just 25mins away. Or just relax, put a record on, enjoy the space, and unwind in the Hot tub.

Wheelchair Access 3km to Tokoroa, 2.5km from Cougar Park
