Set in a Grade II listed building, this accessible ground-floor cottage also offers Amazon Echo and antique wood floors. Provided free to guests is a single parking permit for Mevagissey Harbour car park, located a level walk of less than 2 minutes from your apartment. With its location adjacent to the harbour and in the centre of the village, Grade 2 listed Quayside has had a fascinating and diverse past. Over the course of its more than two centuries nestled between the centre of the village and the harbour it has served as a pilchard press, net loft, doctor's surgery and even as the premises of the local undertaker! Following extensive recent renovation it has been transformed into chic, comfortable and spacious apartments that showcase the character of the building. The superking bed, which can be converted into twin beds upon request, is topped off with high quality linen guaranteeing a luxurious night's sleep. All apartments possess full kitchen facilities including Nespresso coffee machines, free WiFi, TVs in living rooms and all bedrooms, and Amazon Echo devices. The generously proportioned wet rooms contain rain and handheld showers and heated towel rails, whilst fluffy white towels are provided. Fully centrally heated. Guests have access to a laundry room with washer and dryer. We generally stay in the same building and, when there, are available to assist you or try to answer any questions you may have during your stay. This apartment is located in Quayside, one of Mevagissey's most prominent and historic heritage buildings, with direct and level harbour access. With its pubs and shops set in cobbled streets, this is an archetypally charming Cornish fishing village. Getting around is particularly easy out-of-season when smaller crowds and quieter roads make trips a breeze, and journeys to places as pretty as Penzance, Padstow, Perranporth and Polperro are perfectly possible in just a day! Popular destinations like Fowey (30 minutes), Newquay (45 minutes), Falmouth (50 minutes) and Truro (35 minutes) are always worth a visit. The seasonal Mevagissey - Fowey ferry (www.Mevagissey-ferries.co.uk) provides a fun and practical alternative to the busy holiday traffic and parking. St Austell (15 minutes) has a wide selection of supermarkets (Asda, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl) as well as the nearest mainline train station. With plenty to see and do, and a great base for exploring further afield, Mevagissey is far more than just a summer destination. Hope to see you soon. Unloading is directly outside on Middle Wharf, Fore Street or on the harbour in front of the Wheel House pub. Extra storage area on ground floor available for bikes and prams. Miss Trimble's @ Dene Lodge, cosy Cornish cottage

You'll never forget your trip to Miss Trimble's Cottage! Miss Trimble's Cottage is named after the first ever resident, Elizabeth Trimble, who lived here in the 1850's. It's the wing of Dene Lodge, a beautiful Victorian "Gentleman's residence" in the heart of the parish of Morwenstow. Just a few minutes from the dramatic Coast Path it is fabulously placed for exploring this stunning area. Endless walks and gorgeous beaches are all very close, so dogs are welcome to join you on your holidays.

Near too Northcott Mouth, a small, unspoilt National Trust beach, or a short walk takes you to the church and village inn. Bude is 2 miles away. The coastal path is close by. Tennis, golf, horse riding, mountain boarding, surfing and fishing are all on offer here. The fishing villages of Padstow, Port Isaac and Rock are well worth a visit, and the Eden Project of course

THE GOLLY GOSH ! A stunning log cabin

The Golly Gosh log cabin has two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with en-suite shower rooms. The open plan living space includes a fully fitted kitchen and dining area. The lounge area has a log stove and TV. The veranda has a table and chairs for dining al fresco. The cabin is in a separate, self contained garden with additional seating, barbecue and a fire pit. There is also a private 4 person HOT TUB. We are a 20 minute drive from beautiful Bude. Please note the cabin is pet free.

The decor is stylish, comfortable, a beautiful haven to sit and contemplate the breathtaking surroundings from. But if you can drag yourself away from this little gem it's a great place to explore North Cornwall's diverse delights from.
