Blackhorse Cabin

Quant little cabin nestled high enough in the mountain to view Mt Alice from the front porch and still close enough to the town of Seward. There is a queen bed and a futon. The love seat reclines also. There is a fire pit you are free to use and some bikes hang from the deck of the main house feel free to use those. The house is located up the mountain but the road can be heard from the cabin. The queen bed and twin futon are located in the same room. One guest complained the area was to small.

The perfect location for your family's Seward adventures! Just over a mile from town while still being in a quiet, wooded neighborhood (and avoid the city bed tax). An eagles nest on the property is above Salmon Creek and, depending on the year, American Bald Eagles use the nest to raise young. You'll be a short drive from the grocery store, Exit Glacier, and the Alaska Sealife Center. Enjoy the full kitchen, outdoor grill, and fire pit. A short path crosses the 1 acre property to Salmon Creek.

Offering a full kitchen, bathroom , shower, this cabin has electric lights and a oil heater in place of the temperamental wood stoves. Our area offers stunning views of Kachamack bay, our small ranch and peony farm. Welcome to my little cabin! Built locally in 1989 this cozy log cabin is one of the few remaining cabins originally built in the Lost Lake Subdivision. With its true cabin form it was built as a "Dry Cabin". In 2011 utilities were added. Staying here you will enjoy the comforts of the modern world but also the coziness of a rustic log cabin on a large private lot in a quiet subdivision. This sweet two story, 750 sf cabin has a panoramic view of Kachemak Bay, the Kenai Mountain Range and out to the Homer Spit.The Upstairs is ONE large bedroom with one queen bed and two twin beds that can be put together to be one large bed. The property has two decks which face the bay, so there is always a spot to sit and enjoy the tranquil views.
