Our beautiful Knife Lake house is the perfect getaway for the whole family, with lots of room for fun, water enthusiasts, and nature lovers. Located on the serene Knife Lake, you’ll be surrounded by breathtaking lake views, direct access to the Lake, and private island with screened porch. Our house has been recently built and tastefully furnished to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience for our guests. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful family retreat or an adventurous vacation!

Scottish highland cattle

Come stay with us on our small hobby farm. We have Scottish Highland cows, chickens, call ducks and peafowl. Our house is 120 years old and you will be in your own space attached to the original farm house. We do need to be with you at all times while interacting with the animals, but our apartment is private. It is a working farm so it is noisy at times, we have pet birds on site that can be loud at times. All people welcome all colors and creeds we are a colorful family at SchoenWest farm.

Come enjoy the newly remodeled Cozy Cabin! We updated the sleeping area upstairs! Our family has enjoyed the area for generations. Enjoy the lake and the simple pace of Isle. Our cabin is down the street from Castles Resort where pontoons are available for rent (swimming and fishing at city park). If you have your own watercraft, there are 2 public access points just down the street (see pictures). All the amenities of home within 2 blocks~parks, grocery, spa, bakery, and tavern!

Welcome to Keystone Lodge! Located just an hour north of the twin cities. Come enjoy this private log home tucked back on 10 acres. You will find Knife Lake just a ½ mile down the road. The rental is located a block from lake Mille Lacs with beach access and a fishing dock at Isle Lakeview Park. The public launch access and ATV/Snowmobile trails are under a mile away.
