We are 1/2 mile from the North Fork of New River. It's a perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy the mountains. Dogs welcome.

Cottage on the New is a vacation home in Todd, NC with the New River running right in the front yard! ***NOTE: our private bridge sustained damage from Hurricane Helene and we are still waiting for it to be replaced. It looks bad, but is still usable. *** The outdoors is your playground with skiing, biking, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing at your fingertips. If relaxing is your style, simply enjoy the view of the river valley from the hot tub, hammock or rocking chairs.

It comfortably sleeps 5-6 (5 in beds and can accomodate an additional sleeper on the couch in the living room), has a fully functioning kitchen, gas grill, WiFi, TV, all with a rustic mountain feel. NOTE: GPS systems are sending people to the coordinates of the cabin and not the entrance road. Always come in via NC-16--John Halsey-Weavers Ford-East Weavers Ford.
