Woodsy Retreat - Private tiny home in the GA pines

Relaxation, restoration, and renewal await you as you arrive at the peaceful surroundings of Woodsy Retreat, a cottage nestled back in the trees on 5 private acres!!  Prepare to relax here at the cottage with all the comforts of home, but without all the chaos!  The cottage comes complete with these outdoor amenities: hammock, rocking chairs, fire pit, games, grill & more! After hosting hundreds of guests for nearly 5 years, our guests tell us they always leave feeling rested and restored!

The Guest House

The Guest House is a primitive cottage and resides on 400 acres outside of Barnesville, Georgia. Bunn Ranch is a working cattle and sheep farm. This space is a two story primitive cottage with primitive artwork and a claw foot tub. Sit in your choice of antique rockers that have been collected over the years. The floors and stairs were salvaged from an old home that was here on the farm. Surrounded by rolling hills and close to town, come enjoy some time for YOU! We will consider STR students.

The Hollow: Experience Life Off-grid!

The Hollow offers guests an offgrid escape deep in the heart of Middle Georgia’s most beautiful area. Nestled on 5 remote acres, our one-room cabin overlooks a 3 acre pond. Enjoy fishing or sunbathing on the dock, camping, bird watching, and all the beauty of this natural, undisturbed setting. Solar-powered water well and propane water heater for showers in the outhouse. Fire pit & firewood available on site. Limited solar power. *We are currently making improvements to our dock area.*

Nestled in the heart of town, our Historic Macon Lodge has everything you need to relax and feel like you have escaped into nature. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, with 2 stone fireplaces and large glass windows. There is a spacious backyard with a fire pit and breathtaking wooded walking trails to a nearby historic Grotto. This Lodge is perfect for romantic couples and families with small children. Private entrance with electric fireplace, television, music, Queen size bed, sofa, bar with stools, refrigerator, 2 burners cook surface, microwave, Keurig, toaster, dishes and cookware. Private bath with compost toilet, shower and sink. Access to paddle boat with life jackets available. Fishing rods if you want to try it!

Welcome to our home on Lake Blackshear! **If you have stayed here before, please send me a message before booking for special rates!** We are located in a cove at the northern tip of the lake, surrounded by trees and beautiful nature. There is 1 queen bed, one queen sleeper sofa, and 1 futon (suitable for 1-2 small kids). There are a few restaurants nearby, a country store, a Dollar General and 2 gas stations. We are about 20 mins from I75 and larger stores like Walmart and Aldi.

Don't worry about overpacking - we have provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryers, coffee and a few extras. Property equipped with front door RING doorbell.
