A beautiful cozy cottage

A beautiful cottage in a big garden of another property. Hveragerdi is a small town and is inside the Golden circle. Supermarket, bakery, tourist info, bank and postoffice are all within walking distance. The famous hot spring (for bathing) in Reykjadalur is a 45 min walk away. The cottage has one bedroom with a queen size bed, one double bed in the living area and one double bed upstairs (airbed). It has a microwave oven and a small stove and all the basic cooking equipments.

A wonderful cozy cabin surrounded by trees in front of Álftavatn lake. Amazing sunsets, sunrises and stargazing and with a bit of luck watching northern lights dancing above. Ásahraun is a small farm in an unspoiled nature, with friendly dog and other animals. In my lovely place, which is quiet and friendly, I have 3 sleeping barrels with wc and a sink. Sleeping in a barrel is a unique experience, cozy and quiet. I have a lovely shower house, hot tub and kitchen that you share with other guests. The location is a perfect base to visit all the unique locations in the south, and Reykjavik is a little less than an hour away.

Gamla Húsið - The Old Farm-House

Gamla húsið is in Kirkjuferjuhjaleiga horse-farm, located in the south of Iceland, 35km -from Reykjavík in Ölfus and 3min. drive off Route 1. Perfect as either the starting point for an exploration of southern Iceland or as a base since it is close to the Golden Circle and a few hours drive to the glaciers and black sands of the south. Kirkjuferjuhjaleiga is a horse farm, on the banks of the salmon-rich Ölfusá river surrounded by beautiful landscape.

We would like to welcome you to our cozy little cabin. It will give you the perfect opportunity to relax in a romantic and peaceful atmosphere. It is ideal for 1 or 2 persons and the highlight of the stay will most likely be the outside geothermal shower with a mountain view. During the darkest months, can you imagine to take a shower under the Northern lights? Well that is possible! This cabin is not suitable for children and infants.

Welcome to the newly renovated farmhouse in Esjuberg, where you sleep by the roots of the mountain. This house truly has it all, from a beautiful ocean view, horses in the backyard, and a phenomenal view over Reykjavik. Esjuberg plays a big part in a very interesting Icelandic Viking story called the Kjalnesinga Saga. In this story, a woman named Esja lived here along with her foster son Búi, who became a very mighty man.
