Set back hidden from the road in a bamboo oasis, it’s private and peaceful. Walk or bike to nearby river, beaches, forest. Or hop on the Highway 1/3 mile away. 3.5 miles to Airport, 30 to Redwood National & State Parks. We’ll share walls so you’ll sometimes hear me, though I try to be a considerate neighbor. Cruising up the long drive-way, you'll be welcomed by our mustang, and adorable donkeys . We welcome guests of all backgrounds and love making new friends. Having lived on the North Coast for over 40 years we're a great resource to make your stay memorable.

With all the luxuries and privacy of a hotel suite, we also boast beautiful gardens and a waterfall cascading down into a koi pond to enjoy. The suite has a private entrance and is situated at the end of the a quiet street in a upscale, safe neighborhood. We are 5 minutes to shopping and dinning and another five to the fabulous Moonstone Beach.

The Head Water House is very easy to find just 5 miles off HWY 101, just shy of Old Town Eureka (10 minutes). This place is truly unique with it's "one of kind" natural Redwood amphitheater and open meadow views. The Elk River Valley is relatively quiet, dark starry nights, and has 50% more sunny days than Eureka proper. Equipped with Starlink, rural connectivity has never been better. You'll see and hear many species of birds, deer, fox, and maybe even a Barred Owl at dusk.
