Newly refurbished and run by friendly ex-travellers, this is a great base for exploring Eastbourne, the South Downs, a wealth of historic sites and for day trips to London by direct train. Relaxed and informal, The Guesthouse East is set in a beautiful Grade II listed Regency villa just a pebble’s throw from the beach and minutes from the bars, theatres, restaurants and attractions of Eastbourne. There are seven individually-styled rooms, each designed to the highest standards with spacious bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms – plus free WiFi, TV/DVD, fluffy towels, toiletries, hairdryer, complimentary teas, coffees and even sweets. Smaller suites are twins or doubles, with larger suites accommodating up to 5 (some extra beds may be futons/sofabeds and may require friends to share a double). Six of the suites also have their own private kitchens, giving travellers much more freedom than an average guesthouse. Each kitchen has a fridge with small freezer compartment, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and pots/pans. TWIN SUITE WITH KITCHEN There are a few twin suites in The Guesthouse East, so please ask if you want to know which one is available and to view specific photos. 4* SERVICES With kitchens in most suites, you are well equipped to look after yourself. But if you’re in need of some TLC why not indulge yourself at breakfast with a home-cooked full English or Carl’s legendary porridge, or even kick back and relax with an on-site massage, facial or other pampering treatment (book in advance). And if your clothing is looking worse for wear, you can get a load of washing done. Parking is on street and you can buy special permits from Carl and Sarah for just £1 per day.

The perfect location for quiet stay or an event, family reunion or house party for a group of friends.

Country cottage B&B near Chobham & Longcross

My lovely cosy cottage is close to Longcross Film Studios, Chobham village, McLaren, Fairoaks, Windsor, Ascot, Hampton Court Palace, Heathrow and London. Beautiful countryside, birdsong and peace, it is good for single people, couples, friends and families. 20 mins to Heathrow and 25 mins into London Waterloo from Woking station but no local public transport - our road is part of the Surrey cycleway. NB. There is a very friendly large dog here - not living in the house. Free high-speed wifi.

With a comfortable lounge and separate formal dining room, you can enjoy relaxed luxury for up to 6 people.

Welcome to Emmbrook Place, Wokingham. My house is a new build in a lovely space. Ideal peace and quiet. I am offering a lovely double room with an En-suite setting with its own door. The bedroom itself has bright bay windows. I have two bedside tables one of which has a teas maid placed with a lamp alongside a dresser with a selection of teas and coffee. The use of one wardrobe in the room with a rail and four shelves. I also offer breakfast at the kitchen table so do help yourself. .

This double room has a very comfortable king-size bed, a built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, a small table and two chairs. There is a bathroom with a bath/shower/sink and a separate loo and sink. I provide a continental breakfast of fruit salad, yogurt, cereal, croissants/toast etc. Gluten-free and wheat-free provided for on request.

The Brambles, Alverstoke Gosport

The Brambles is a beautiful, quiet home within walking distance of the beach, HMS Sultan and a five minute drive to the Gosport ferry. The large bedroom, with ensuite facilities, overlooks the pool. Tea and coffee is provided in the room and a continental breakfast is included. Please note smoking is not permitted in the house.
