Fire up the grill and have a BBQ on the front porch of a quaint mountain cabin. Gather round a fire pit when the sun goes down. Relax inside on a comfy couch in a rustic, wood-paneled living room. A kid-friendly cabin located close to downtown Hendersonville and all the area has to offer. Centrally located to near-by Brevard and Asheville while accommodating all the comforts of home. Entire property for use of guests. While we do not live on the property we are only a phone call away. The cabin is nestled in the heart of the Western North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains, close to downtown Hendersonville. It's centrally located between Brevard and Asheville. Parking for up to 3 vehicles on-site Amenities include an outdoor fire pit, grill, coffee maker and fully functioning kitchen. A tree-house is located onsite for adventurous young ones. DuPont Forest Cabin - Close to trails/waterfalls!

Rustic Log Cabin in the Heart of DuPont State Forest! Half a mile to Lake Imaging parking or a mile to Hooker Falls parking for access to trails. Truly stunning waterfalls are a short hike from this location. (Triple Falls, High Falls, Hooker Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Grassy Creek Falls are all nearby.) Great hiking or mountain biking here whether you're a beginner or experienced rider. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. Double covered decks. Open Living/Dining/Kitchen with vaulted ceiling.

Basecamp cabin for two

This cabin is a great basecamp for heading to Pisgah and Dupont. Located within a mile of downtown, yet you feel like you are out in the country. There are beautiful mountain and pasture views from the back porch. There is a house on one side of the cabin, but a fence in between for privacy. Sit on the back porch and watch the Scottish Highland cattle graze while you enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. This property is on a working farm, so you may see farm equipment around the property.

Enjoy everything Western NC has to offer from this spacious, private, and comfortable log cabin home. Hiking, mountain biking, swimming and waterfalls are all available in the adjacent Dupont State Forest. The cabin is 15 minutes from Pisgah National Forest and 20 minutes from Hendersonville and Brevard. AS OF 2025 there is high speed Wifi (Starlink), and as a result great cell service. AND THERE IS NO LONGER A CARETAKER ON THE PROPERTY so guests have the whole property to themselves.

This cabin is 1 of 2 on our property. This is the closest rental property to Dupont State Park at only a quarter of a mile from the entrance. Offering its own private Hot-Tub, sauna, and fire pit along a creak, this property is one of a kind! Our cabin is located 15 minutes from downtown Brevard and 20 minutes from downtown Hendersonville which both offer lots of local shops and dinning.
