Welcome to Shepherd's Rest, our bespoke shepherd's hut located in the peaceful Hamlet of Foy, 10 minutes from the market town of Ross-on-Wye, in the beautiful Wye Valley. Outside, relax on the spacious private deck and admire the stunning views of the River Wye. Inside, Shepherd's Rest has a comfy double bed, sofa, foldaway dining area, modern en-suite shower room with flushing toilet and a log-burner, perfect for those cold winter's evenings. Situated in rural Herefordshire, our shepherd’s hut is a perfect hideaway for two adults. It is set in secluded woodland with open views. It offers peace, privacy and a chance to truly switch off. Inside, relax by the cosy wood burner, sink into a comfortable double bed, enjoy the convenience of an ensuite shower room and thoughtfully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. Perfect for year-round romantic escapes. Spend your days strolling quiet country lanes , stargazing or enjoying a good book!

Secluded Hut on the Welsh Border

Kingfisher Camp is a romantic hideaway set in the dimple of a hillside of a small farm in the foothills of the Black Mountains. The hut is available for anyone who is content to cuddle up by candlelight and light the woodburning stove to get cosy, or spend a night out by the fire, cooking food and star gazing. The setting is gorgeous, the views are stunning, the hut is much bigger than a shepherds hut, and the shower is a glorious experience! It's pretty special here. Hard to beat we think!

Our cosy, beautifully fitted Shepherd's Hut with its own wood-fired hot tub is perfect for a romantic rural getaway. Nestled on the fringes of mature woodland on a small working farm, the hut is secluded with open views over the breathtaking Dulas Valley in rural Herefordshire. Relax in the private outside area, with charcoal barbeque, hammock and fire pit, and explore local walks, pubs, market towns and historical sites. Dogs are welcome. On the edge of The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, our luxury 16 foot Shepherd's Hut was built and professionally fitted in 2021. It has a shower room with WC, a log burner, fitted bed, kitchen unit with mini fridge and inside dining table. No cooker in the hut. There is a toaster and a kettle. We can provide a breakfast. Outside there is 16x9' external decking a gas BBQ for cooking,chiminea. Stunning views. The hut is on our own 3.5 acre smallholding . We do not allow dogs in the hut.

Beautiful shepherd's hut set in stunning rural surroundings on the host family's organic beef and sheep farm. Rustic and comfortable. With wonderful views, log burner and stove, king size bed and fold-down table. Plus wood-fired hot tub, fire pit, outdoor shower and eco toilet. Off-grid (no wifi). A free bucket of wood is left inside the hut for the log burner. If you would like to use the hot tub then this is an additional cost of £20 to be paid on arrival. Must book hot tub on booking

It is entirely self-contained (double bed, kitchen area and shower/toilet, all connected to the mains supply) with its own entrance from the country lane, its own garden and surrounded by beautiful Herefordshire countryside and wildlife. It is ideally placed for walking and cycling, exploring nearby attractions or simply relaxing with a book.
