You’ll love my cosy cottage as space surrounding the unique cottage affords total privacy in a beautiful orchard garden displaying a lovely rural ambiance. There's also a free carport for car/boat, only 1 km from town. My homely retreat is ideal for couples, cyclists, solo travellers, hikers, fishermen, businessmen or anyone celebrating an anniversary or a wedding.

We are perfectly situated for easy day trips to Hot water beach or Cathedral cove & many other Coromandel beaches. We are 5 mins drive to Thames town, cafes & restaurants. Come relax & unwind & recharge your batteries. We are 1 hour 20 mins from Auckland international Airport. Sorry no late check-out.

Piha Retreat - Rainforest Magic

The Retreat is nestled in protected native rain forest with stunning views down to Lion Rock at Piha Beach 15 mins drive away. You will be rested & rejuvenated after your stay. Designed by Chris Tate, who won international acclaim for his "Glasshouse" in Titirangi. Watch the sun go down from the deck with a glass of wine, enjoy the outdoor bath under the stars, then have a wonderful peaceful sleep.

Misty Mountain Hut - Piha

A tiny isolated hut amidst Kauri and Rimu trees to escape the world, self check in. Outdoor Fire, long drop, outdoor hot shower/bath. Surrounded by Tuis and Wood pigeons the hut is close to Piha and Karekare…or simply stay and enjoy nature. Beaches are 10 minutes away by car. Grocery shopping and gassing up recommended beforehand. Misty Mountain Hut supports local Piha staff by paying $40/hr.
