Our cozy bungalow is located in the middle of the woods of the Overijssel Vechtdal. The forest house has a beautiful sauna and a big (wild) garden of more than 1000 m2 where you can rest and enjoy all the flora and fauna. From the cottage you can walk, cycle and swim for hours. There are beautiful routes and you can easily jump in a canoe or enjoy a terrace in the lively Hanseatic town of Ommen. Historic farmhouse from 1864, centrally located between the Veluwe forests, heaths and sand drifts and the Veluwemeer the lake surrounding the new land of the polders. Enjoy the space, nature, tranquility and old fishing villages, while cities such as Zwolle, Amersfoort and Amsterdam are easily accessible. The house is equipped with every comfort and a large garden is available for the guests. We have room for 1-6 guests. We do serve an extensive and as much as possible organic breakfast.

Luka's Hut, eco-cabin with sauna by the river

Luka's Hut, our beautiful eco-cabin, sits on the banks of the Ganzendiep river in Overijssel. Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

Unwind at this serene, secluded escape. Our Steel House, elevated on stilts, offers privacy and a rare connection with nature. Relax in the sauna for a peaceful retreat. At its highest point over the water, a sitting area with a 360º wood stove keeps you cozy. Enjoy movie nights with a beamer and speaker for extra entertainment. Outside, a spacious wooden deck with a sun lounger, outdoor dining table, BBQ, pizza oven, and a stunning lake view awaits. For dog owners: the property is fenced😊

In het mooiste deel van Giethoorn, buiten het drukke toeristische gedeelte ligt deze unieke vakantiewoning middenin de natuur. Met vrij uitzicht over het water. Het huisje heeft 2 slaapkamers (1x 2 persoons en 2x 1 persoonsbed). Er is nog een 5e bed (1 pers.) op de hal boven. Graag vernemen we of je gebruik wilt maken van een lakenpakket (beddengoed & handdoeken). Toeslag is € 10,00 p.p. De vernieuwde badkamer maakt het huisje tot een luxe plek om te genieten van de rust, ruimte en natuur.

The houseboat can be rented for people who want to go on holiday to Giethoorn, discover the Weerribben-Wieden National Park or just want to enjoy the peace and quiet. The perfect getaway! The cottage is situated on a small family estate, in beautiful forest, just outside a village (at just 600m ), in the largest nature area of The Netherlands, with ancient woods and vast fields of heather on its doorstep. The house is spacious but also cosy and comfortable, with a luxury bathroom, complete kitchen, a woodburner stove and all the other comfort you need. Wolves can sometimes be heard howling, if you're lucky...
