Dei siste par åra har også Urkeegga blitt eit populært turmål. Fjella her er like populære for skituristar om vinteren som for fjellturar på sommaren.

Området har elles flotte turmuligheter også til fots. Fjellsetra er eit godt utgangspunkt for mange fine toppturer både sommer og vinter. Det er også eit godt utgangspunkt fir dagsreise til Geiranger og Ålesund. Om sommeren kan en også fiske i Nysætervatnet (må kjøpe fiskekort).
