There are two small grocery stores and some seasonal cafes in the area, 7 min drive to Ureki train station and fish market, 25 min drive to closest port city Poti.

River house features accommodations in Shemokmedi. This vacation home provides free private parking, full-day security, and free Wifi. Staff on site can arrange a shuttle service. CHAMO is located in Vakijvari Village, at the foot of mount Bakhmaro. It is inside the nuts field and very quiet.
