Located 19 miles from Snowshoe resort, 5 miles from the Green Bank Observatory, and 11 miles from Cass Scenic Railroad. There is so much to enjoy from hiking and biking the Greenbrier River trail, canoeing or kayaking one of the nearby rivers or skiing at Snowshoe. The Woodland House is our 2-bedroom, 1.5 bath home located in the Mon Forest town of Franklin, WV. Enjoy the comforts and luxuries of home while enjoying the fresh air and forests of a trip to the mountains. You'll also have easy access to our small-town amenities while being a short drive from some of West Virginia's favorite destinations like Spruce Knob and Seneca Rocks. You can also stay in and enjoy the mountain view without ever leaving the back porch.

Mason Jar Cabin Rustic mountain getaway

New cabin built 2019 in the heart of pocahontas county! Just a 28 mile drive to Snowshoe ski resort. It has a bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, upstairs bedroom has a full bed with open loft overlooking kitchen and living room area, bathroom downstairs with standup shower. It has a heat pump, two TVs & WIFI also a fully equipped kitchen. We have a fire pit outside and a charcoal grill. The 77 mile greenbrier river trail is directly in front of our cabin.
