Aird Villa with its south facing decking is said to be one of the nicest houses on the Isle of Scalpay. It sits overlooking Scalpay’s quiet North Harbour where the local fishing boats are moored. Taigh 'n Rois is cosy 19th Century refurbished traditional crofting cottage which is full of character. It has an original Box bed- perfect for curling up in front of the wood burning stove. Set below the Trotternish ridge Taigh 'n Rois has panoramic views across Staffin and the Quiraing and is a perfect base to explore the amazing scenery and impressive Jurrasic landscape of north Skye. The kilt rock, Old Man of Storr and the famous dinosaur footprints are all nearby.

The Yurt @ Ranish

The yurt is a tiny relaxing space . It is situated in Ranish , which is about 8 miles out of Stornoway and although it is at the back of a residential house you will feel like you are out on the crofts that surround it in this rural area of Lewis . The Croft fields around have a mixture of animals , including sheep , goats , geese , ducks & of course chickens , which can be a wee bit vocal at times . We have some very friendly chickens on the property as well .
