Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Fordell loft is a cosy Scottish studio in the kingdom of Fife, surrounded by country veiws and walks. Free private parking beside loft in courtyard . Ten minutes east of Dunfermline , Ten minutes from Aberdour coastal path .Motorway route M90 and A92 close . St Andrews 45 minutes by car .Bus service is 10 minutes walk to crossgates . Park and ride at Halbeath provides excellent links throughout scotland , Edinburgh city centre and Edinburgh airport are roughly thirty minutes away by car x

Log Cabin in Auchtertool.

The Log Cabin is situated in 3 acres of garden, shared only with our own house. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden. The Cabin sleeps five people and we have a travel cot if required. There is one large bedroom with two kingsize and one single beds. The Cabin does not have TV or wifi, however it does have an excellent 4G signal. We welcome well behaved pets, up to a maximum of two small dogs or one large dog, even a cat. We ask guests who bring pets to vacuum before they leave.

Shiel House, Rumbling Bridge

Set in 3 acres of gardens and with beautiful views of the valley, Shiel House is the perfect retreat. This bespoke house was built by our family to provide an escape from the city and it has been furnished to provide a comfortable home from home. It would suit solo adventurers, couples, families (including with kids), and groups. Centrally located, and only an hour's drive from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and St Andrews, it is the ideal base for golfers, walkers and visitors to Scotland.

Tiny House in Cosy Village

Dating back to the 1700s, this tiny house had sat empty for over 50 years until George (Heather's son) invested his life savings to completely renovate it to a high standard, while retaining the original character of the building. Sitting below Bishop Hill in the picturesque village of Kinnesswood (2023 joint winner of Britain in Bloom's 'Village' category!), the tiny house is surrounded by breathtaking views, fantastic walks, and an abundance of local farm shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Home on entrance to Lochore Meadows Country Park

A cosy self‑catering base in Crosshill, Lochgelly, offering easy access to Lochore Meadows Country Park. Enjoy scenic walks, cycling, water activities or one of many hosted events. It is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway but also handy for Fife Cycle Park and there good public transport links making a broader area accessible. Edinburgh/Dundee/St Andrews are all within an hours drive. The Garden is due reconstruction so has limited use. Due to be completed for the spring/summer.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

It’s a great place to explore towns and villages around the East Neuk of Fife, Edinburgh, St Andrews, Gleneagles, Stirling and Glasgow. Its a great place to base yourself if you are planning to explore the Lowlands and Southern Highlands of Scotland.
