Ideally situated for outdoor activities - walkers, climbers, cyclists, lovers of steam engines and Zip World Attractions. Well-equipped kitchen; cosy lounge with woodburning stove (logs provided); one king-size bed; shower room; washer and dryer; secure storage for bikes, kayaks etc. Views of mountains, sea and steam engines from the property. Ffermdy Bach, close to Borth y Gest's coastal path

Ffermdy Bach is a self contained cottage adjoining our Welsh farmhouse. It has a separate entrance and garden so you can enjoy your holiday undisturbed. You are only 5 minutes walk from the coastal path and beautiful beaches of Borth y Gest. There's so much to explore and see in the area: Snowdonia, Portmeirion, castles, narrow gauge railways in nearby Porthmadog and if you are looking for more excitement try the zip wires at Blaenau and Llanberis. Is-Y-Deri provides spacious holiday accommodation, perfect for large groups of families and friends to enjoy time together in this beautiful part of Wales. The sitting room offers a character stone fireplace with a woodburner, adding to the welcoming, cosy atmosphere, and the large kitchen/diner is a wonderful place for everyone to gather together and share holiday plans. The first floor is divided into two independent sleeping accommodation and wash areas, giving guest plenty of privacy.

The cottage will sleep 4 and has a large living room with views towards the Ffestiniog Railway, Cnicht and the Moelwyn mountains. The cottage has recently been entirely renovated and redecorated, offering quality holiday accomodation The double bedroom is on the ground floor and the twin bedroom is upstairs

The owner is knowledgeable about the area and can recommend places to visit, including excellent local restaurants and pubs, all accessible by bus and train.

I invite you to use my lovely house to enjoy Harlech and the surrounding area. On the edge of a small estate, the house overlooks farmland and has views of mountains in the distance. The Welsh Coastal Path runs behind the garden. There's wifi and Sky TV. Cleaning, bed linen and towels are all part of the service; I just ask guests to enjoy the house with care.
