This 1940’s warehouse conversion is conveniently tucked away in the heart of Lower Gibsons. Our stylish Laneway suite has its own charming, private entrance and is the perfect base for exploring the area. Easily accessed by public transit from the mainland, you can skip the ferry lineup! There are many great restaurants and cafes within a short walk or head to the public market and build your own picnic. We are 3 blocks to a nice swimming beach and minutes from kayak, SUP and scooter rentals.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. There are two large sun-filled bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a kitchen, dinning room and living room. There’s also a third bedroom with a sofa bed for a 5th person or use it as a kids room ( we have portable crib/pack n play, a bassinet and a toddler's matresd). All rooms overlook the gardens with mountain and ocean views. This is a self contained suite in the first level of the house we live on the second floor.

Grantham House was once a bustling community hub as the local post office and general store, and beginning in the 1920's, a favoured summer stop of the Union Steamships Company. Come relax and enjoy a quiet, comfy stay on a country farm. The spacious open plan studio suite features a comfortable bed, small kitchenette, bathroom with shower, television and wifi. We are dog friendly and welcome sociallized, neutered/spade dogs to romp in the yard with our four. We have limited cooking facilities (toaster oven, induction stove-top and BBQ) and encourage our guests to support the local restaurants.

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
